Ali Al Amine

Ali Al-Amine is a Lebanese journalist who served as editor-in-chief of Al-Balad daily. He also founded the Janoubia association, which started publishing a weekly magazine and later on, a news website in 2011. Ali Al-Amine ran for the Shiite seat in Bint Jbeil during the 2018 parliamentary elections but he did not win. Al-Amine was victim of several targeted attacks for being a vocal critic of Hezbollah, the latest being beaten up while hanging his own pictures on a wall during the election campaign.
